Halloween Week in Beverly Hills & Beyond: Your Late-October Guide

By Brooke Elliott Laurinkus · Last updated October 26, 2026

October is one of my favorite months in this city. The light turns golden, the neighborhoods go all out on decorations, and the calendar fills with some of the most cultured and spooky events of the year. Whether you’re a longtime resident, a neighbor from across town, or someone dreaming of calling this city home, here’s where I’d spend the week.

Event information is drawn from official venue and city calendars. Please confirm times, tickets, and availability before attending.

Fleurs de Villes: THE GILDED AGE at Greystone Mansion & Gardens

Date: Wednesday, October 28 through Wednesday, November 4 Where: Greystone Mansion & Gardens: The Doheny Estate, 905 Loma Vista Drive, Beverly Hills

More than fifteen mannequins dressed in gowns made of fresh flowers, inspired by the characters of HBO’s The Gilded Age, displayed throughout one of the city’s most storied estates. Greystone itself is the real draw for me. The 46,000-square-foot Tudor Revival mansion was designed by Gordon B. Kaufmann and completed in 1928 for the Doheny family, and it’s listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Brooke’s tip: It’s only open for eight days, so don’t wait. Your ticket includes a complimentary shuttle from the Crescent Drive parking garage. On Halloween night, Greystone also hosts the Gilded Age Halloween Affair, a 21+ after-hours evening with cocktails, live music, and tarot readings. Book early.

The Performing Arts 🎭

Sasha Velour: Travesty

Date: Thursday and Friday, October 29 and 30 Where: The Wallis, 9390 N. Santa Monica Boulevard, Beverly Hills

A Halloween-week performance at The Wallis, and a stylish prelude to the weekend’s costume parties.

Halloween in Beverly Hills 🎃

Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, so expect a full night:

  • Trick-or-treating in the Flats: One of the Westside’s most beloved neighborhoods for candy and decorations, including the storybook Witch’s House on Walden Drive. Crowds surge around 7 p.m., so arrive early. It’s a private residence, so please enjoy it from the sidewalk.
  • Gilded Age Halloween Affair at Greystone Mansion & Gardens: 6–9 p.m., adults 21+.
  • Gothic Garden at Novikov Beverly Hills: Starts at 6:30 p.m.
  • Dollface Dames Halloween Ball at Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills: 8 p.m. to midnight.
  • Halloween Rooftop Party at Circa 55 (The Beverly Hilton): Starts at 9 p.m.

Around LA 👻

Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch (Culver City): An LA tradition for nearly 40 years, with a pumpkin village, a straw bale maze, a petting zoo, and food trucks. Weekends add live entertainment and a birds of prey show. 10100 Jefferson Blvd, open through October 31.

Los Angeles Haunted Hayride (Griffith Park): Back at the Old Zoo area on select nights through November 1. This is not the cozy hay-bale ride from your childhood. It’s a full scare attraction with actors and sets, best for teens and adults. New this year: a 1980s rock-band maze called Fallen Angel, and themed bars for guests 21 and over. Weekend nights fill up first, so buy tickets early.

Halloween Horror Nights (Universal Studios Hollywood): A record 42 nights this year, running through November 1. There are eight haunted houses, including Sinners, Stranger Things, Hellraiser, Evil Dead, and Ozzy Osbourne, plus the Terror Tram and a new Fortnite-themed scare zone. Regular daytime tickets don’t include the event, popular nights sell out, and Express passes are worth it for shorter lines.

Falling in Love With Los Angeles?

Events like these are what make this city so special, and why so many people dream of calling it home. If you’re curious about living in Beverly Hills, its architecture, or the surrounding neighborhoods, I’d be honored to be your guide. Reach out anytime, and have a safe, spooky, and sweet Halloween!
